if i was going to guess the stock clutch will probably slip before the intake collapses.

the better the filter is the less vacuum the intake will be under and the less likely the intake is to collapse.

bigger turbo on lower boost can product the same peak power as smaller turbo on higher boost. tq and powerband will be different.
that turbo has good potential.

what about leaving the stock inlet. those things are hard and wont collapse. you may lose a little but you wont have to worry about it collapsing food for thought.

if i was to do it again i would keep the stock one, especially over the gimmick. some did stay with the stock.

I have an inlet and never put it on for the very reason. if you do put it on try to place clamps over it. I notice with clamps it was alot harder to make collapse them without.

i actually hav a brand new perrin turbo inlet for sale. its a 3in so i cant use it. doesnt come with the fittings or whatever though.

anyway im not here to argue. thanks matt for the large order as long as everything is installed well your car will be going fast in no time!

sweet.. oh and btw, josh at import image is the shit. he answered every single one of my six thousand questions without a problem. even the stupid ones. i have yet to see a vendor with better prices then his, which is why i went with him.

A lot of people use the inlet and have no problems but there are people who have had problems with the inlet as well. Just like everything else, hopefully you don't have problems with it
