Questions . .
Ok I was at Mastro today, I fell in love with a used 07 STi. I am a complete noob to subaru. What are things to look for as far as problems with them? I know this one has 11k some sort of suspensions *I remember a BC being on top of the shocks* and has a imported catback. Also has after market rims*i don't like and might wanna trade for stocks, they were said to be worth some money* It still has a warranty and I can also extend it. I test drove it, and hecne the falling in love lol.
I just want honest oppnions on the STi from their owners. I have been a Z, RX7 and supra guy, I really only know about those and other cars I have built.

bc coilovers? those are good! hmm look for obvious signs of abuse.. test drive it ask for a compression test to be done
BC coilovers are good, idk what the wheels are but maybe someone from here traded theirs in
honestly, you really dont need a compression test done on a car with 11k miles. Especially an STI. Especially one thats still under warranty.

llk or 70k if im buying a used car i want to know everything you have no idea what its been through especially when youre spending over 25k on the car
it was a fully adjustable set, you could even change the camber and toe, it was nice that it could just be dialed in. As far as abuse, there were no signs of anything, everything was smooth from the clutch going in to the steering and throttle control. I will ask about doing a compression test.

They also had a 07 STi LE . . . it is said to be real rare. It was owned by an older lady and had only 9k on the odo. It was only 2k more than the blue one with mods.

go for the limited..... mmmmmm yummy!
the closer to stock the better, i mean BC coils get great reviews but any coil system is going to be much rougher on the chassis and depending on previous owner's driving behavior could really do some damage in the wrong hands. but they are also a very expensive and useful performance mods if you are planning on tracking the car or doing very spirited driving. as far as the mileage... it sounds like you really have nothing to worry about that the warranty wouldnt cover.
If your looking for straight line speed and 1/4 mile timeslips, an STi is the wrong decision IMHO just so you know... you could buy a used Z06 and make a subaru look silly with just a set of drag radials and No2. There are also many more moving parts in an AWD STi but again, your warranty would most likely take care of that.
If you like the feeling of having traction around the corners and testing how many g's you can pull coming off the expressway (the only real corners in FLA) then this is the car for you.

WHY in the fuck do dealerships, especially mastro tell every customer some "OLD lady" or "Old guy" use to own the car. I mean come on, we all know thats BS! let me guess, i bet the old lady put those BC coilovers on all by herself!
