Default never seen this done but...

was wondering how would i go about wiring my outside temp gauge so it read intake temps?

well if its a sensor have it threaded to a bolt or something, then have a bung tapped in your intake and screw it in.

i want to just wire it in into the ecu so its exactly what the ecu is reading

You could just get a gauge that reads it.

how high does our(sti's) temp gauge read? 120F?

my ecutek read intake temp from the ecu.
normal temp was around 100 degrees.
the highest i ever saw it was while sittin in a BK drive thru for about 15mins, around 85-90 degrees outside temp the intake temp was 120 degrees.
