I just got my car repaired from an accident that someone rear ended me. I need a picture of where the rear bumper aligns with the trunk weather stripping. Theres a huge gap that the repair shop says it came like that, there's no way! I am in brooksville florida where my car was repaired so I am kinda far from the subby shop to take a picture my self. i think he needs you to open the trunk and take a picture of where the top of the bumper meets the trunk area.

 

Since you have a Legacy, you can compare it to mine. I believe this is what youre asking for.

shockergt had the right idea. Sorry for not being more specific its been crazy trying to figure out if I am wrong or the body shop. I mean if the trunk is open and you see the top of the bumper....does it meet the weather stripping or is there a gap between the two (if so how much of a gap) to where u can actually see behind and down the bumper cover. Yeah this body shop is just not believing that. I have enough space where I can fit my finger in there which is my guess lil more then a half inch. I can see easily all the inside workings of the bumper. He is making me drive from brooksville to tampa to take a picture myself. He said there is no way he can fix what I want done. He will mess something else up if he tries. I can kinda understand where he is coming from because everything is intertwined and if he bends one thign another will be messed up but I dont own a body shop and its not my problem to figure out how to fix it. If there is indeed soemthing wrong as it seems from what you and everyone else has said so far. I think the only way this is going to get fixed is to sue him or to bring another legacy to him......anyone have one in brooksville? lol or can i buy someones gas and some beer?
