ok i researched to convert my headlights to projectors. but i can not find anything related to for the 04-05 wrx's neither the sti's have them. but i seen a 04-05 impreza wrx/sti with projectors. i was wondering are they custom made or can you actually buy the projector set? please help

I haven't done a conversion to projectors yet, but I have the 813 motoring 10k HIDs in mine and they're freakin' awesome. SUBSTANTIALLY better than OEM HIDs on the STi.

 

from what I read its a long hard process unless you have done it before. I know you can use the TSX projectors. Its just a lot of fab work and wiring.

how much did it cost to upgrade the hid's? did you use your oem ballast? and just higher k's lightbulbs?

 

and im really sketchy about these aftermarket hid conversion kits. i read that if you put hid's in non projector headlamps the light that reflects out it calls a burn out. meaning when on the road it doesnt reflect toward the ground but just reflect everywhere. so who ever in opposite traffic would get blinded by the lights. what the hell thats what i want to do. hahaha. so if anyone can point me toward a recommended hid conversion kit for a reasonable price. even if it is ebay or something. please help thanks

 

contact 813motoring, they're a vendor on here. also, 813motoring.net (even though its down for renovations). They're only $150 for the kit and they're really great. Also, they come with their own ballast. Their 10k is really classy, and there's no chance you'll get pulled over.
