what sort of power levels were the cars getting that you were talking about CPages? Obviously when you get into high power levels, stock parts start becoming restrictions. But I havent seen a lightly modified car benefit from an intake yet, only suffer
I have seen several posts on Nasioc and few other articles at other outlets say that the cars are benefiting from Intake.

For instance when I had my 07' STi there where tons of people that where just running Catback, Intake and Tune that saw some amazing numbers on Dyno. I have talked to several 08' Owners that are just running CAI (AEM and P&L) with AP and have reported the car coming alive.

I could be wrong. It just seems like the days of Intake being useless on our cars are over.

I have run an intake on almost every impreza I have owned and it always improved IMHO. I know for a fact that my WRX has horrible hesitation issues out the box, then I installed Prodrive Intake and reset teh ECU and I never had any hesitation again.

but with every instance you meantion, the intake isnt the only change. Every single example you gave me either included a tune or an ECU reset. That in and of itself will make the car feel different.

but im not going to get into this any further. the intake debate can go on forever.

Ill leave it with what I said earlier. Think about ditching the intake and it might fix your problem. If you still have the stock one, then its only a few minutes of install which could save you months of pain.

He has an APS 70mm CAI of which Ive tuned several. (BTW: thanks for the the 'lil dig about it not being done right. )
Your APS pod on the other hand, is too short and results in a disproportianate amount of turbulence causing erratic MAF readings. So yes, I hate yours...

no worries, mate. wasnt cracking you or anything, just relaying what you've told me before and wasnt sure what other intakes you had problems with.

im just trying to make sure everyone knows tuners are human, too. You may be good, but it doesn't mean you'll get everything right.
