Default Sarasota - Advice, Help, Suggestions

I am fairly new to Sarasota (almost 2 years).

I just purchased a 09 LGT and would like to add a few mods, but I am a novice at it.

First - I am looking just at suspension mods (power later).

Coil-overs (looking at the KW Var2).
Cobb Sway Bar
Cobb Short-Shifter

I would like to install these myself, but have never done it - and don't want to screw up. I would rather watch (and help) someone that knows how to do it. I am willing to drive and pay to have it done - but I really am interested in helping and learning. I am also willing to have someone come over and help (I may not have the proper tools, but I am sure that could be secured).

If anyone lives in Sarasota, willing to swing by, or lives close enough so that I could drive there and do it. Please respond.

Also - I had a question about the KW Var2 vs. Racecomp - as to which I should go with.

Regards....

Well, if I don't get a response....would you be open to me making the drive up there? I am happy to pay for the service - but would also like to learn as well.

Regards...

I live in sarasota as well as a friend of mine. We pull springs almost weekly. Weve got it down to less than an hour for my car and just on an hour for his mazda 3. He also has cobb sways, and both of us have full autocross setups. We could easily help you/do it. Weve also done springs/shocks/sways/exhaust installs on about 5 other 3's

As for helping, I wish I had the tools to do this but the most I can help with is instructions.

KW Variant 2 will be an awesome setup for autocross/light track use and daily driven duty on fairly smooth pavement. The shop I work for (S&R Performance) is also a KW dealer and should be able to get you a good price on them.

I'm available after work hours to help out. Shoot me a PM when you're getting close to being ready to get it done. I've got the tools
