then he makes a custom seat bracket for my Sparco Evo2, to lower the seat about 3 inches

is that a short throw shifter with a rally extension on it? doesnt that kinda defeat the point?

 

I already have a short throw, so yes i guess? the point of it is to get the shifter up right next to the steering wheel.... I thought it would make the throws much longer, but surprisingly they are still very short. Gears are easy to find as well.
