Best Ways to Eliminate Heat Soak/Prep for BMP
Thinking ahead to the BMP meet/track event tomorrow, I remembered the last time I was at the track was during the same time of the year (mid-June actually). I need some advice on cooling my mostly-stock STI right before some runs. I will be driving from Sarasota directly after work, so the a/c will have been blasting for close to 30 mins by the time I arrive. Mods are in sig...

we redirected your TB coolant, which helps... Other than that, keep your hood up until you're actually going to run, blast it with water as soon as we get to Chris' house, keep ice on the I/C, etc...
I would insulate your I/C for you a little bit more if we had time

Definitely going to look into ice once I actually get the BMP, possibly to put in the I/C water spray reservoir. I will have my hood up too, once I get to Chris's.
On second thought, maybe I'll install a 2nd battery and connect it to an electric space heater. After all, STI's run notoriously cold and must be kept warm to run at their best.
