theres basically a checklist of things that your car checks for while it is running.. any tuner has the capability to uncheck the one that is showing up.

The AP gets rid of the CEL (tunes it out) so that's probably why it didn't show up. If you have a Tactrix and laptop you can get rid of it yourself.

That's what I figured. But I don't have the cable to do it myself.

Cant you use the AP cable to do it yourself? Ive been using it to datalog for a couple of years. Or is it just able to datalog and not tune with?

I'm not sure, plus even if I could I don't know what to look for...lol

yes you can check and clear codes with the accessport


i cant believe gadiel would forget something like telling the ecu to ignore that code. thats like tuning subarus 101. first thing is have it ignore the O2 codes.

reason you didnt get it before is that all accessport maps are programmed to ignore it.

Oh, yeah I already cleared the code with the AP. I thought the other guy meant turn of the light with the AP.

A little off topic but what did you pull on that dyno Wrxgurl? I was able to get 275/280 with my stg 2+ sti with a conservative 17-18 psi tune and 305/319 on an agressive 20-21psi tune.
