%10 ethanol?

Default %10 ethanol?

ok so i went to gas up my car earlier at shell, and noticed that it said that the gas now is mixed w up to %10 ethanol. well seeing that i only put a few bucks of gas on. im just wondering if it would affect in any way my tune or performance in my car and even on my motor. so what u guys think?

yea i got gas at a station up here in p-cola that had 10% eth also i was wonderin the same thing

its federally regulated that ALL fuel now (and for the past 1.5-2 years) be at least 10% ethanol (e10) and IIRC colorado is up to e30 (30%)

I wanna run E95 in my car for time attack events and tow it there on biodiesel...see if I can get some backing for it

but really, I love ethanol and its properties...

me too!!

burns alittle cleaner.

dont think you can really gain anything with E10. They probably use lower octane gasoline with it so the octane rating comes out to the same.

talked to jeff about it when i was up in atlanta.

his opinion is that regular gasoline is better especially if you are running close to 100% injector duty cycles. That because it is less efficient it takes a little more fuel, and personally I'm running like 97% injector duty cycle, so it is not advised
