Default Recirculation fitting on HKS SQV

I have the HKS SQV BOV on my 05 STi, now my question is what exactly is the purpose of the recirculation fitting, should I use it or not, the car will be getting a down pipe, exhaust and intake soon, but for now just the BOV. Should I recirculate the air or not???

Thank You, STi FTW!!!111

Default

If the BOV isnt 100% atmospheric then that allows some air back into the engin, thus keeping teh car from running to rich between shifts.

If its 100% atmospheric and non adjustable then usually they come with a fitting to seal off the recirc hose.

However I wouldnt run 100% atmospheric, at least not with a basic tune
