Just get the STi, I have had both.

The ammount of time and money I spent on my WRX to get it up to where my STi felt out the box felt like it wanst worth what I saved a month.

I own a wrx....which is now an STI a year and a half later.... the money I've spent is far more than an STI would have cost

id love to have an STI interior

next thing on the list once the car is running again is to get the risers for the seat cut out and metal plates welded in so I can bolt brackets straight to the floor. then the race seats will go in.

"I agree with the tranny part.. but 3k for a motor, why? for different heads? The 06-07 have 2.5 liters"

... nope, for the stronger internals,

a WRX engine is not going to tolerate 550 to the tire

i personally think you should just get an STI it just looks so much more aggressive than the normal wrx and alot stronger too than the wrx performance and handling i mean i just instead of dropping all the money into the regular wrx to make it look like an STI isnt really worth it, but thats just what i think and plus its really eye catching too. Compared to the wrx its motor has a bigger displacement, bigger brembo brakes and some other stuff. I think you should really get the STI.
