Default I wont be doing launches again...

Then again, I'm a hard headed sombitch and do it again...

I believe I broke my left side motor mount after doing a launch. Needless to say, my engine is slanted to the back and left. I come to search for motormounts for scooby and come across this...

06 STi Plastic Motor Mounts-be careful!! - ClubWRX Forum - Subaru Impreza WRX and STi Community and Forums

So it turns out that the 06-07 mounts were changed for some shitty plastic ones and hence cannot hold the loads of launching a car that was DESIGNED to do... This sucks...

Anybody got any recommendations for real motor mounts? I hear the "group N" mounts are popular and affordable... What are your thoughts?

I got brand new group n mounts for sell. lmk. i bought them to change out the shitty 06 mounts but mine was fortunate to have the mounts from 05. so i never installed them. i believe the 06 with build dates after 05 december were installed with the 05 mounts.

one of the first things I changed on my 06. I got the group-n mounts and never had a problem.

I have some stock 06 mounts laying around you can have if you get in a bind

does anyone know if the group-n mounts would be direct fit replacements on my 99 legacy 2.5GT or would there be fabrication involved? I'm just trying to upgrade as I replace so that when replacing the motor time comes I'll be that much further ahead already
