Default tuning question

Mainly for Snowman, but all posts are appreciated. i had a snowman tune for 3in tbe, 255 fp and 19 psi tune. i was wondering if i went back to stock exhaust how much will it hurt my engine with this tune? i recently moved to va and might be considering an exhuast change for emissions. thanks

put the stock exhaust on only to pass emission test then put it back on after.

you cant run 19psi on the stock downpipe with the cats in place its too restrictive and will cause the egts to go up and cause the car to knock.

you should be able to drive the car around with out a problem enough to get the emissions test but as for going into boost its probably going to start breaking up.

im pretty sure Jeff is going to say something similar

yeah itll be ok to drive around aslong as u dont go into boost. although it wont even let u boost 19psi. is too much restriction for ur tune. like 3gsucks said, just put it on for inspection and take it back out.

VA huh? I hear theyre pretty strict when it comes to any mods. Yeah they both hit it on the head. Id put it on for the test, then maybe look into a stock catback for stealth when it comes to the LEO's
