500whp is about 650 crank hp. subies loose about 20% drivetrain, maybe more.

the thing is you can't give a flat rate for a dyno...as they vary from one to another, especially from one manufacturer to another...and then the brake (brakes on the car) loss will remain the same same but will be a larger % at a lower power...so its all best guess/estimation

I have a friend in NY who had A WRX first gen. He had around 30k on the whole car all around it was not a STI they did not make them back then any ways he had over 500hp with a green turbo no NOS and it sure as hell look alot better then that shit that car is trash for real I respect those cars but that dude got ass rape. If he spend what a use Gallardo would cost you. My point is that theres people out there with cars with less money and more power thats all.

What do you mean, I have three Subies, all three Sti Japanese Spec-C and they have well over 300k a piece in them! So my friend you aren't quite correct!
