the new evo is sick.
I saw my first evo x yesterday coming home from clear water. I was going east bound on the 60, I looked to my left and there is was fresh from exiting hwy 19. I must say I was very impressed that car is sick from the front. My light turned green so I left. Later that day I drove to a mitsu dealership on Florida ave the check it out up close the side profile on the car is horrible and the rear is alright but not a big fan either. 5 speed with fake carbon fiber trim. I did like the sparco seat. Asking price $35k uhmmm nah ill pass on that shit. But I must admit it was X times better then what I was Xpecting (get it x=10) a lil evo joke... ahh whatever I though it was funny. Flame away.

They look fantastic, and with the optional aero package they're totally badass looking. Mitsubishi has really stepped up their fit and finish on the Evo, expecially compared to historical atrocities like the 2nd gen Eclipse and many iterations of the Galant.
However, there are a lot of things on the car that seem like there is much ground to be made by tuning. For example, the rear "diffuser" is pretty much a bumper parachute, the rear differential is hugely overcomplicated with what seems to be electronic clutch packs and an external cooler, there are many places where subframe triangulation has been overlooked, etc.
Definitely a great platform for modification, but I'd opt to spend my $35k+ elsewhere.

At first the automatic Evo sounded crazy but they are using the same tranny of the GTR well not "the same one" but same science with the twin clutch bullshit. Its gotta be good. But nothing beats the power in your right hand and left foot. I love manual transmission that’s why I would pick a Porsche GT vs. an Enzo any day fuck the sport paddle shifter bullshit give me my stick shift!
