<-Would like help installing uppipe this weekend.
Can anyone help a brotha out... PLEASE? I have all the tools, jack/stands, gaskets needed. Will pay cash for help! I'm looking to install it this weekend with the help of someone that has installed one before. I have a garage and I'm located in Tampa (Carrollwood area). Food and frosty beverages included. Thanks!
to bad im in school man id help.... one real big tip i can give you tho is definetly jack your motor up a bit and trust me it helps... itll make your stocker slip right out..

John, it sounds like you had a run-in with the silicone valve cover plug, huh?
Guys, be VERY careful when removing the stock uppipe. The heat shielding around it can knock a small plastic plug into the valve cover... then you'll need to take it apart, clean it, replace the seal (I didn't, but you usually do), and silicone seal it all back up.
Just DON'T yank it out, ok? And before you take the pipe out, make sure to feel up along the side of the cover so you know where that plug is.
