I have on 06 wrx, my setup now is vf39, ebay topmount, turboxs exhaust, gruppe-s headers, and scott siegal protuned. car is fast, but im bored now, have had this setup over a year now. Was thinking about front mount, spt intake, and alky injection,and larger injectors, then a retune. Should I yield a good power increase with this setup over my other. Is it worth it to do it on the vf39?? I would like to keep the 39 and get as much out of it as possible. I ran a 12.5 @ 107 so its a quick setup, just want a lil more.
for large gains, the turbo is whats going to be maxed out in that setup. if your already running 12.5's on pump gas thats pretty damn good. meth injection and larger injectors would allow you to run more boost...assuming you have a fuel pump in there

there is no point in running a fmic if you want to run meth/alcohol. I suggest the meth setup and a bigger intake. someting like process west that has a nice big filter on it and is a CAI. you can get it at mastro.

yeh. . . . not so much. something about trying to compress incompressible fluids just doesnt work well.
But I agree with what Import has said as far as the 39 becoming your limiting factor. Yeh, youll see gains from it, but will it be worth the money?
what do you do with the car? Im assuming its just a fast street car with some drag runs every now and then. If so, stick with the TMIC, as the FMIC can be laggy on the track right after shifts. When I ran my VF22 with a FMIC, I was having problems reaching target boost in 2nd and 3rd because it just couldn't fill all that volume quick enough. Meth injection or a water/co2 sprayer on the intercooler should heal any heatsoak problems you have with the top mount.

meth is cheap, You can pick it up from A&E automotive i THINK! but there is other place im sure that sell it.

with meth kits, you get what you pay for...its funny how cheap a blown engine can be had
the vf39 will become the limitation with the mods you will have done...most of you gains now will only bump up the bottom end and marginal amounts in the top end. the turbo is pretty much done. An EWG would help with that some. A bigger turbo would help more
