Default need some input

hey guys im buying an aps fmic used but black is it possible to get it powder coated chrome or silver not a big fan of the sleeper look help please recommend a powder coating business if you think it a good idea

It should be aluminum(silver) under the black paint,if you can get the paint off. Powdercoat is very thick I don't know if it would reduce the cooling properties of the intercooler,but paint is very thin,you could just paint it any color you wanted. If none of this helps it should get people talking so you can find more info.

Don't powder coat!!!

try using chemicals/acid to get the paint off if you really don't like it. Paint remover or aircraft stripper will probably do.

the thicker the coating you put on it, the less heat it will transfer.

there is actually a thermal conductor coating, like the opposite of jethot that theoretically make cooling better
