Default How does this setup sound?

I have an 03' WRX w/ 3 inch catless DP, soon to e gutted uppipe, deadbolt monster ported TD-04 w/ ceramic coating, process west CAI, and a GM boost control solenoid when I get a tune. I want to get a snowman tune when I do the GM solenoid and I'm wondering what this setup sounds like for a street car. I'm not after big numbers, just a daily driver that can still be fun.

Sounds good. You'll be good after the tune. You'll see a big difference.

sounds good except for the turbo...td04 is a tiny turbo that is good for nothing but auto-xing a low revving 2.0L...for the same money I would run a used vf39 with a tial 38 ewg.

I would like to do a larger turbo but I don't want to pay to upgrade my injectors, pump, ic, ect. The only thing I would be paying for is the solenoid and the tune and it's not too much money. I also have 95K on the car and drive about 25k a year so reliability is key with me.

larger injectors are just a clipping away...in other words free. A 255lph is 80-100 and you can run the stock tmic happily with a 39...I did it and was making 240 on a mustang at 13 psi because heat soak became a bit of an issue in july...stock sti makes 205-210 on the same dyno...
this was also an internally gated vf39.

What do you mean full exhaust? I have a 3 inch TBE and a gutted uppipe by tomorrow. The whole point of this setup is to make a decent amount of power for a street car, have minimal lag and cost around $200.

your setup is fine, homemadewrx he obviously doesnt want too much power (which is rare around here). 03 wrx with 95k miles doesn't need more power going to the tranny, and if he is happy with this power level there is no need to stick something bigger on and stress the tranny more.
