Default '06 sti

Whats goin on guys. Im looking into an sti but i dont know anyone personally that has one. i was wondering about the overall likings that everyone has toward their sti. handling, comfort, power, etc. i currently have an '06 spec v with a maxima motor in it. i pretty much have the power but i really want f/i. also, minor issues like bad gas mileage an not having my cruise control kind of sucks. so basically, if anyone can give me some info on an '06 sti, that would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys.

everything about the sti is fun...power, handling etc. plans for mods? if so that would make it better. STI FTW

Heres how it goes imo. 06 STi < 06 Evo < 07 STi

06' Evo's have a less failure rate than the previous years and are a much better platform for performance.

07' STi's have the better trans. and reliabilty but lack power with the stock turbo.

compared to the 06 sti for an out right sports car, yes...daily driver or car that you plan to own and enjoy (not work) on, then the STi wins all day.

Neither one gets good gas mileage though.

the evo's stock turbo is a nicer unit though...the td05hr-16g is nice and capable of 400 whp...the VF39 & vf43 are a bit more of a torque monster turbo do to there size...most just upgrade anyhow.

what are you considering good? as even with a tune it still isn't good gas mileage from any I've seen and driven.
