Default which turbo for my daily driver???

my vf30 has a problem so I decided to get a new turbo...I was either considering a vf34 or 16g, since theyre both about the same price. mods are in my sig. this in on stock clutch and tranny, which would probly suit me better?

vf34, unless you get the deadbolt 16g. most other 16g's spool up a little slower, plus they don't really push more than a vf34. if you are considering a 16g you might as well just get an 18g. or if you find one get a twin scroll vf37 setup.....there was one for sale on here not too long ago.

Go with a super 16G and call it a day. Your car pulled hard up top but you can't beat the spool of the 16G. plus they're rebuildable unlike the VF series.

did you just say the 16g spools slower lol....

if your running with your stock transmission, please skip the 16g. go with something that spools a little slower....ie vf22, 18g.... you will be happy with the top end!

why not just get another vf30. That way, you wont need a retune (mo money).

getting another vf30 was my ideal situation, but I havent had any luck finding one for a decent price or if I do it has a hairline crack. How much should I be willing to pay for a decent one?

I would say a VF34.

I agree ideally the vf30 would be best. There isn't enough of a difference to pay out for a new tune.

The vf22 or 18g, IMO these are the best turbo for a strong WRX daily driver. Great mid and top end. spool is about 3800rpm and can pull hard to redline. 300 whp on pump and 330whp on race+ 5 speed = tons of fun!
