Hey i know this guy that made a harness for my friends wagon that has a turbo motor swap from japan to convert mechanical to electric speedo.I think he used common parts from radio shack...lol.I'll find out for you i know its not that hard to make.My friend in N.Y. bought a impreza wagon(eletric cluster)and i had a early style motor from japan and it had the harness in it.the guy really did nice work on the wagon i looked over all his work and it was nice. Then my friend swapped it all into his 2000 RS.Anyway i'll find out about it.

I have done mechanical to electrical...its as simple as I have said...in fact my white impreza (see avatar) is one of them. no need for radio shack or anything.

yup, everything works fine...the odometer and speedo are run off of it...the revolutions are then turned into a signal that is sent to the ecu.

This is an awesome build man, I am very much jealous, I was planning to do something much like this, except with a hybrid jdm EJ205/207 engine with my left-hand drive legacy to avoid the obvious fitment issues with the TT. long story short, I'm broke and my engine still runs <knock on wood>

again, awesome build. you're an inspiration for me to get out of debt

that's an old jdm lsd R160...viscous...if you snap the cv's you are going to either have to make your own or some from japan...or an importer.

I had the same one in my first rwd setup with 4.44:1 and until you were moving it was pretty open...coming off a dusty corner from a stop it would peg-leg

but when you snatched second that ass would hang out
