Default Overheating problems

I am think about selling my car too many problems for me

New tires
drain plug
dent in door
and Now the car sounds likes its going to die but it still idles the same and the car sounds like a fan turns on and off. Is it my coolant? If so how do I drain it?

I went through the same thing bro.

Does the car act different when the gauge reads hot(if it reads anything).

My gauge kept showing my car was running hot,car acted like normal so i knew that wasnt the case.Got a cel the next day and it turns out the ECT(Engine Coolant Temperature)sensor went bad and is going apeshit.

I doubt anything is wrong with your coolant. My fan rarely ever comes on(That i notice).

Good luck with everything.

well, the fans do turn on and off and my car does that. Its your radiator fans. Also, when you turn on your air conditioning they will turn on and off.

Your dent in the door is at your own will to fix.

Again, getting new tires is your own will to fix.

Lastly, the drain plug, is again, at your own will to fix.

So solution....dont sell your car b/c you dont want to fix your issues. You dont go out and buy a new car b/c you need new tires. For the drain plug, just go to mastro and get a new one. Im pretty sure they wont charge much for a new one, unless it looks to be not easy. But regardless it cant be that much money.

Trust me man, these are not problems to get rid of the car. Also, you have to get all of this stuff fixed just to sell it anyway. Insurance will make you buy that stuff to sell it.

I and many others on this site can say that we have had times that we just wanted to get rid of the car b/c of modification issues and what not. So, just pamper the car and get it fixed.

4 new decent tires for 16's: 70x4= 280

Dent in door: Talk to insurance about your rate or find a place that will do it for a good price; maybe 400 at most?

Drain plug: cheap; if need replace oil pain and stuff, then around 200 maybe

So at max, maybe 800-900 to get the car back to new?

**Also, if you want cheap tires just to put on it that are used or w/e you can find them for like 40 a tire.

Im not claiming the prices, these are only guesses. So, please, dont quote me on prices haha

have you replaced your coolant or taken off either of the radiator caps? you couldve gotten air in the system. It probably is the sensor though if its happening at idle.
