The styling has definitely grown on me as well, as I originally detested the Evo X when it premiered. As I get older, the trade off of refinement vs. performance might be a fair trade off. Although I don't think I'll ever get tired of the ridiculously responsive steering. which, from that article, sounds like it's getting a little less hardcore.

And what then do you say when you put the same 30R on a Subaru and a EVO and the EVO makes more power ?..i've seen it happen.

Subaru needs to step up their game, its almost embarrassing, we should be dominating the EVO's.

Haha exaggerating?no.

Hopeful thinking?Si.

I agree thought.Subaru needs to step up their game. It's not a competition of who's faster anymore, now it's how much the evo can beat the sti.

I love em!The ability to make power is much easier also.
i had an evo 9...for about 1000 miles...the stock car fell apart..and now i have an sti, much better quality, yes your statement above is correct.

now that the evo guys won't have their 4g63 and they will be playing with that smg style gear box, i'd like to see how it all holds up...i'd consider the smg one to replace my legacy as its faster then the legacy (and i already own an sti)

i think this car is going to be full of surprises. maybe i should get one. anyway, it seems like it will be slower, and the fact that it has an aluminum block isn't that great either. but we'll see... maybe the evo will once again dominate over the sti hahah j/k
