Default lets start a weight reduction thread :)

Just want to see how you guys are shreading off those pounds. Lets post things you have taken off. It will give eachother tips on what we can do to lose the fat!

so far ive taken off my front bumber beam, shreded the trunk, brail battery.... roughly 60 lbs maybe more.

ive wanted to do the bumper beam as well, but am afraid of what would happen in a low speed front impact.

I changed out my stock header with a Fujitsubo unit. I never weighed it but just by lifting it, it felt about 10lbs lighter than stock. Theres always titanium exhausts also. Took out the spare also, whatever that weighs.

driver weight mod counts.

i changed my control arms to sti aluminum, removed most of the interior (but added a roll bar). Still need to get the JDM bumper beams and JDM aluminum hood, which will drop my car about 75 lbs all together.

kyle you should put a 2 stroke motor in your car! you would run 10s then because it will be so light... LMAO

oh hey whats the deal this weekend about takin the ski out! i havent been on mine in like 2 months.

well, I have removed the bumper beam and topmount for a fmic. changed stock struts and springs for coilovers. oddessy battery. removed spare tire and jack. when I had the cf trunk, it was definitely lighter than an sti wing and trunk. new mirrors haha.

glove box metal weight removed
center console metal removed
headers
rear strut top covers removed
ETX14 battery - same as Braille for half the price
aluminum driveshaft
CF mirrors

thats all I can remember for now.
