Okay, well my original FBCS was giving me a CEL in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears but would give me 17lbs in 1st gear and then 18lbs in the rest of the gears. I bought one from a local guy and when I put it on I was hitting 10lbs in 1st and 12lbs in 2nd on up and it was surging badly. I cleaned it and put it back on but it did the same thing. My car is an 03' (90k) w/ a 3inch catless TBE, P&P TD04, 3/16ths mod. and K&N filter. Do you think that I'm just getting bad solenoids and I should keep looking for one that works or is there a more serious problem? When I had the old solenoid on, it ran great and pulled awesome, but with the new one it's just doesn't feel like it takes off the same. Any help? Thanks.
