You guys can call me all the names you want, and talk about how you are so laid back you dont' care..blah blah blah...but when you are less than two months from your wedding...trying to get all the bills paid....and then find out someone like cpages thinks it's a joke to try and raise money for a wedding he doesn't even need the money for...it would piss you off too. The fact of the matter is I had no problem with the original intent of the auction. Which is why I originally applauded you. But the way you kept reffering to this whole idea of getting $100 from random people as a joke, is just plain messed up.
What I meant by "people like you" ruining it for the rest of us is very simple. Look at all the homeless people begging for money on the side of the street. Do you know which ones are actually homeless anymore? Or do you think they are all scammers? I never said you were doing anything, I said people like you ruin it.
As for my initial reaction, put yourself in my shoes and ask yourself what you would think.

I'm not sure if anybody mentioned this but instead of ragging at him saying his AWD failed on an 2007 STi...how bout you all take your cars, AWD or not, an see if you can conquer the "sugar sand"....as for the advertising on the car....what do you think race teams do...they just do it in a sense where it's a must and dealing with millions.....that was a good concept but not the smartest way of going about with it!

I see exactly where he is coming from...hell I too see it on the streets....homeless...prostitutes....youth football team organizations......even Jehovah's witnesses....but if you are in a jam with money and stress...I'd advise you to get off of TR...being that a typical 9-5 would have started X minutes ago, unless it's your day off, or go find something that would calm you down and think about that big day....take your anger out on the Scooby!!

Well just like you said everyone thinks differently and I voiced how I thought about it. Just like you are voicing your opinion about it as well. Start your own thread and you can say whatever you want...I don't have a problem with that. I wouldn't mind one bit. In fact, I encourage it. It doesn't mean I would agree with your opinion but I wouldn't blast you because of how you feel...that's below me. And, I definitely wouldn't lower myself to your standard of attacking people because I don't agree.
Not one person gave him money against their own free will. If they were worried about his financial status they would have asked or not given him anything....just like you wouldn't give the homeless guy any money but I would. It's America and he didn't break any laws or hurt anyone. Props Cpages for being creative and taking advantage of a free society...of course that's my opinion!!!!!!!!
