Default 2006 wrx and 18g?

So i think I have come the conclusion that I want an 18g as my turbo upgrade.

I have two questions
1. what company to buy from? either Forced Performance (18g tdo6sl 7cm) or Turbochargers.com (18g tdo5 8cm) both cost the same.

2. Will larger injectors be needed? the stock 06 comes with 560s and i plan to add methanol injection. i believe that with meth the 560s should be sufficient enough.

any suggestion on what meth kit to get I think i like the SMC if they make one for the 06.

Look into Blouch Turbo Inc. - Turbo, turbochargers and performance turbochargers as well for the turbo.

If you're going with meth then the 560's will be fine.

I personally would (and did) get an WWW.ALKYCONTROL.COM kit. The company is local and IMO builds a superior kit (stainless lines, shurflo pump, progressive controller). The website doesnt list a Subru application. Just give 'em a call and he will build you one.

I'd go 20g on that 2.5 block on the meth kit I'm sorta partial to Aquamist..

depends on where you want your power band to be but I think I would go with a 20g, bigger injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, meth....etc. Besides I don't think there is much of a price diff. between the 18g and 20g. Snowman can also set you up with a sick 20g tune...

yea watch out 3rd gear though :X... kinda funny the more i read on nasioc the mroe i want to get a 18g or 20g, they seem to not be blowin 3rd gear as much as the vf39 and td04... think i've come to a conclusion that 3rd on a 06 07 wrx doesn not like lotsa torque below the 3500 rmp range... they seem to be holdin the 20g's (380tq) fairly well since spool isn't til after 3800 ish
