this just started my belt started to squeal like a banshee last night and this mornig while sitting idle I turned my steering wheel and while the belt started to make it's noise the batt,center.diff.temp,and brake light came on. the steering became crazy hard..i set an appt. tomorrow for mastro but i would like to get opinions before i go...i do have a gfb pulley and these were installed for like 2 months...anything would helpful

did you check the fluid?

 

the fluid looks good.just little below max level...could it be the pump and if so why the lights staying on..

 

had the problem fixed the alt pulley was loose....thanks for the input

hmm my car does the same thing sometimes. I keep tightening the tension though. How did you go about tightening the alternator pully? Did you take the belt off then adjust it?

 

Why is it that this is like a bad time for Subaru's lol Matt M car is throwin a fit, stering is acting crazy, and my trunk opens randomly WTF!!
