I will be asking Snowmann to tune the car since its been giving me nothing but issues since the battery was disconnected. And TurboTrix wont be back in the area until its cooler and I'm not going to wait around for that. The car sputters, pulls timing and its just pissing me off. With that said, I will be getting off the accessport and going with the Snowmann's program. My question is how much do you think I can ask for the AP (v.1) for an 06 STi? I will be selling it right after I get it retuned.

I'm also going to sell my hallmann MBC and going back to the EBS. I'm going with perrin's EBCS and ditch my old prodrive one. The car has 28k miles on it now. Any thoughts in changing the plugs and other items before the new tune? What mods would you do to make it better? (stock turbo)

i would say a good asking price would be 375 shipped for the ap. I have seen more, but they never seem to sell. Hell, start high and work your way down.

My mods are CAI, TBE (Invidia v3/SPT catback) walbro 255, ap, hallman mbc.
I'm getting the perrin EBCS. I was thinking about getting new plugs but not sure if I need them.

but your pretty much maxed out on the stock snail. the only other thing thats worth adding is a meth kit.

after your battery was reseted did you reload your real time map?
that happened to me last week. i accidently disconnected the battery and i forgot i needed to reload my realtime map and the car was running like crap w/issues. but i since then reloaded the map and she's working like she's suppose to.

also the AP with custom maps go for around 450.

 

Im in the process of selling an AP V1 as well and you should be able to get around 400 shipped. I would suggest sticking it on ebay, cause who knows, you might get some newb who would pay you like 450 for it, which in my opinion is a bad offer. Is it capable of being unmarried??

 

AP V1 are not the easiest thing to sell since V2 has come out. I just sold my '06 STI AP V1 for $350 shipped and it sold in 2 days. I've seen others ask 375-500 shipped and sit for over 2 weeks. If you have time and are in no need to sell right away then start high but if you want it sold quick, $350 shipped for a V1 is a good offer. I sold mine on iwsti so good luck whatever forum you use and hopefully you get what you ask for it!

 

Well, the shitty part was that the custom map was not loaded to the ap to begin with... I only have the stg2 93octane. I called TurboTrix about it, and was told that the map is safe. However, I feel that its not right.

I was thinking about the meth part right now, but I will do it after I swap snails. I just want my current set up to be effective. Funny part was that last night, the car was running like a champ. I was doing 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear pulls and the acceleration was great. I believe this heat has something to do with the car not performing well.

What type of plugs should I use? I'm going to swap out the plugs and install the EBCS
