I've seen this 2.5RS down near Ballast Point Park a couple times in the past few months and was wondering if the owner came on here, or if someone knows who the owner is. It's a pretty nice car, looks like it has 22B style front fenders. I'd like to know what kind of exhaust it's got on it (the 1st time I saw it I liked the exhaust note, deep but not loud/raspy). I waited around for about 10min outside the little gym there but was getting strange looks from the women heading inside ( ) so I drove off.

If the owner isn't on here and no one knows then maybe someone can tell me what exhaust this is...




Dunno if it's obvious in the pics but the exhaust has a light bluish tint till about a quarter way up the exhaust tip. I'd thought about getting up close to see if there was a name on the exhaust but didn't feel right with all the people around. Anyways any help you guys could give would be appreciated.

you think? It looked pretty uniform/even, like if it was painted I'm guessing it was on purpose. The first think I thought of was those titanium exhaust tips that are partly bluish (heat treated maybe). Any idea what kind of exhaust it is?

I betcha it's an old skool UK exhaust like Scoobysport, or Hayward & Scott but, might be Aussie like MRT or Hy-tec... then again could be a Meineke special

i don't recognize the tip, I'm pretty familiar with most exhausts that will fit the 2.5rs because they fit my car too. If thats the one that used to be at USF in Tampa all the time, then I'm 90% its a girl that drives it, and other than exhaust and intake its stock performance-wise, ran into her 3 years ago while living on campus and fell in love at first sight.... with the car.

 

Thanks for the replies guys. Maybe I'll stalk him/her till I can either talk to them or get the cops called on me. I'm trying to find a quieter exhaust than whats on my RS now (Stromung exhaust & track pipe, holy loudness).

I think she got a new car IIRC, and IIRC she wasn't on old skool Volk Challenge rims

 

I've got a magnaflow 60 series muffler with 2.25 pipe(same diameter as stromung) and it sounds nice and strong without being annoying or droning at any speeds... almost stock sounding at 3500rpm, but under that its noticably louder than stock.

Cheap and effective, and it looks clean without being obtrusive
