YES YES YES GOD YES we need a subaru tech out here. Every mechanic that has worked on my car has banged his head on the wall multiple times trying to figure out how to make things work on my car.

I'm looking to do a full drivetrain swap hopefully within 6 months, someone with alot of knowledge and experience would be just dandy

well, I've built motors and trannies...done swaps of both engines, heads and drivetrains...problem being is I don't, YET, have the few specialty tools to assemble the gearsets and the front diff, so that would require a little purchasing. I've always had a connection at the local dealership so I could get into the shop and use their's.

I know the ins and outs of our unique subies as most don't...

funny someone has mentioned brotherz

well, I'm back in virginia beach right now...was down there talking business with them for the weekend...still have to work out a few things. I just wanted to make sure that I would actually have some business...besides, your clutch is pretty easy..just takes some time
out of curiosity what clutch are you putting in?

There are plenty of very knowledgeable suby mechanics out here. The problem is that there are none with a reputable shop backing them.....or.....they do not have the credibility and reputation to draw in big business.....or ........they all do small work, so no one has come up with a nice motor build that lasts or is tried and proven due to the lack of funding or proper equipment.

As far as tranny work is concerned.......i.e. rebuilds, cryo treating etc. I have never known of a local tranny shop that has proven themselves in the local Subaru community

yes, I do...I'm still getting use to my new AEM interface though...done reflashes/accessport...hydra, I've done a little despite coming from a certified hydra tuning shop. Link 44s and PE are what I'm most familiar with. UTEC sucks but I've spent plenty of time on that too.
I also tune meth cars which a lot of people don't. I just require having an EGT.

As for motor builds, I've never had an issue with any of mine. Now I'm doing something kinda crazy on my own personal build. I'll share that later though.
