Default Help install a WBO2

Hey guys, I bought a Wideband O2 sensor and guage and could use some help installing it. I'll drive wherever if someone has a garage, cool, i don't. I live at Belcher and Ulmerton in Largo if you want to come to my place for whatever reason. I'll bring beer and buy you lunch and whatnot in exchange, would like to get it done before this saturday for the meet, but not the most important thing in the world.

this is the actual unit that I purchased....

i don't have a turbo... and the link it right under where i said "This is the actual unit i purchased..." it made the link dark blue, and i tried to change the color, but then the link doesn't work... so... <shrug> just put your pointer over the empty looking spot above the grassyass and it'll take you to the specific wb02 i got

I'm assuming that is because i would just have the 02 sensor hooked up to my a/f guage and not to my ECU, but my guage has a narrowband output in addition to the wideband output(so you can have both) would this satisfy the ECU for a/f readings and not throw a CEL, or is the ECU input a wideband signal.

and if it is a wideband signal, could i just splice the wire so that a signal is being sent to both ECU and guage?

from what it looks like, the TX spot on the module goes to the gauge and you can use the analog output to splice into the stock o2 sensor wiring.

so yeh, you can put it in your stock o2 bung and not get a CEL
