Default RS to a WRX

Does anyone know the difference between an 06 RS and an 06 WRX or just the difference of an RS and WRX...if so will the upgrade parts bolt right on? Thanks!

the difference? huge...

definitely not just swapping bolt on parts, you would be much better off trading in an RS and getting a wrx, if thats what you want.

i meant the ENTIRE CAR...no swapping...it would be way more then just buying the right car.

because you are missing things like: TURBO, intercooler, Turbo Exhaust manifold, etc... and realize if you get a TMIC you need a WRX hood

well yes, it would be alot of work, but hes asking if those parts will bolt on. If he were to buy a wrx or sti intake mani with all the parts. Hes wondering if it would all bolt up.

I dont see why not. From what i can tell, there isnt really a difference in the motor. If you bought all the parts, it would seem like they would bolt right up. Now, for the ecu, thats another thing.

I mean, i would probably just trade in and buy a wrx. But, if you gots that money and wanna learn the car, then buy the parts. They couldnt be that expensive. If you went with all the wrx parts, im pretty sure it wouldnt be rediculous. Also, people would love to trade you hoods if they have the same color with a fmic.

well, you would have to order a new hood. with that type of scoop. Check out sites like nasioc or iwsti and see if you can find yourself a nice hood. Or, if you can find someone to trade you their hood locally, then you can order just the scoop. The problem with your hood is that its an RS hood. Thus, no scoop. You should find someone to trade or buy a cf one
