NASIOC is down right now....

but if you're referring to the fact that Meth breaks down an oils viscosity? Welcome to last week...its pretty well accepted that if going with meth injection that oil changing intervals should be decreased to every 2k miles.

i read the whole thread...being awake at 5:51 doesnt give you much to do.most of the people were saying its the bad tunes that fuck up the engines.someone even said the wwII fighter airplanes used meth/alky injection in the engines.its not going to be entirely safe for your engine but in all reality..what mod is?

thats based on synthetic anyways.i never run synthetic and never will.ive read way too many bad things about it.

i plan on going meth in the far future(after my vf22,fmic,injectors,internals..and snowman tune)so we'll see what it does to an engine running normal conventional oil.

Also you cant just crank the timing to the beejebus because theres no knock (due to meth). Doing so will cause excessive cylinder pressures that will lead to rod bearing failure. Which in essence can be attributed to a Meth failure but in reality is just Tuning issue.

thats exactly what they said in the thread.people cranked the timing all the way up thinking it wouldnt hurt but in all reality its what lead to they're bearings messing up.

people also said that the meth leaks into the crankcase when its injected and i just cant see that happening.i dont know how much more dense meth is than gasoline but hypothetically if gas was the same density as meth we'd have gas infested crankcases.it just doesn't make sense to me.plus if meth is getting into your crankcase either 1)your spraying way too much and/or 2)get a better tune/tuner.

<meth addict

when ken(fatangel) was over my house helping with some problems we were talking about meth and he said he tore apart blocks that used meth and they looked brand new and perfect condition

and yea i agree the tune has a lot but you can blow up a stock suby with a bad tune

i dont doubt jeffs tuning capabilities at all... my car performed amazingly with his work...he will push the car to where you get great power but still is very safe... now im just hoping hell start playing with hydra because thats gonna be in my cars future

also it could have to do with what meth hes using some people cheap out and run windshield washing fluid...... i run straight meth sunoco brand from the track and if i have to run heet

<--- I have been spraying for about 7-10k miles now. I love it. As long as you change your oil frequently then ther is nothing to worry about. If I spray and run the car a lot .....then I change the oil after like 1.5- 2k miles of driving. If I drive the car fairly normal and only spray the meth occasionally then I due a normal oil change interval. You just have to maintain the oil closely when using meth.

Also, I have been running mobil 1 synthetic since my car was born.....I also ran it on my 04 WRX

sounds like nitrous. Most ppl know you are supposed to change your oil more frequently when you use that
