ok i gotta quick and stupid question... can i clear coat the outer lens of my headlights so they dont turn yellow or fade after i buff them? if not,where can i get those 3M clear films for headlights?

 

im pretty sure that if you have hids that it will melt the clear coat cause they get hot

 

yeah plus most of clears tend to fade too and turn yellow. im gonna have to get some film for it

^^ Yeah my friend used some sort of plastic cleaner on the yellowist headlights I've seen and they came out looking brand new.

 

yeah ive seen this, i just didnt know anybody that have used it. i guess ill be getting it for sure cause i already wet sanded and buffed my headlights but they already turning yellow. so they really need a good clean up

 

I use it regularly, it's like polishing your car every 6 months you have to maintain your exterior paint... same for plastics that UV kills them
