Yes, you can use the Cobb to clear that code.

If you don't have Cobb AP, you can use something like this

eBay Motors: O2 Sensor Simulator MIL SES CEL Eliminator Fix 02 Sim (item 280134330068 end time Jul-24-07 14:42:16 PDT)

Just an example of one of them and that one is about $11 shipped.

Oh yeah, to the OP....

Mechanincal deletes can be bought at just about ever auto-parts store. It is marketed as a spark-plug anti-fouler by "Help" part number 42002 or 42009.

...but try to remember that this is only gonna clear your p0420 code. Its going to do nothing about controlling overboost and/or OL-CL transition. Only a tune will correct these issues.

If you have a 32 bit ecu such as found in a 06+ wrx or any Sti DONT use a mechanical fix.

the second O2 sensor actually does something for fuel trim learning and if you try to bypass it with the mechanical fix it will make the car run bad as in run rich.

i know this by experience.

im not too sure about the 02-05 wrx i think they are ok.
