... its not the power . its the fact that there is none until after 4500 rpms with this set up. if its tight, i will never get into boost. i want to try but i wont have fun driving around without any boost. is it a tight cone course? or like a big 4 mile track?

 

I was in 2nd gear the WHOLE time. It's a pretty good size track. It's about a 50-60 second track.

 

ok, i see. there is way to much lag with this set up. goes to show you that for auto x the stocker is a mutch better choice. my set up is just to slow for a tight track

I know this is super off topic..but you had doubts in keeping the wrx..now you end up with the wrx and evo 9?? Maybe I should attempt to sell my car and see what comes up...but November 3rd...something else is around that date??

 

your tranny will be fine as long as you dont abuse it. i ran two autoXs a month for a year, and 1-2 track events a month for the past 8 months and still on the stock tranny. No grinds or anything, still working perfectly.

LOL, not really. I like the Evo alot. I would've bought one, but they are too expensive for me. You can go out with an auto. Just stay in 2nd the whole time.
