Purolator pureONE, I just don't feel I need the mobil 1.

+1 amsoil only downside they are hard to find

if you change your oil often most filters are fine.....except fram they suck....i use the purolator and have never had problems.

I pick them up from a Amsoil rep in N.C.

If you purchase them in 2's they run about the same as the K&N filters incl. shipping

the oem subaru filter is the PureOne according to FAQ on NASIOC.

i use the PureOne

I've hear bad things about using mobil 1 in our cars.

well, honestly I've never had an issue with Fram (yes fram), K&N or Mobil 1...I'm switching to an Oberg though with my new build...really would like to make the "viewing" process much easier. Especially with what I'll be doing.
just pre-oil before you put it on as this has often lead to failed bearings...or so goes common speak.
Everyone knows our rod bearing oil delivery sucks anyhow because of our cranks

Fram is the only one that everyone said NOT to use on nasioc....glad you didn't have problems though. LOL
