no not everyone will fit....i run the ss fmic and had to use the supplied maf intake and buy an aftermarket filter. you need to either have a new intercooler pipe made so you can run a cold air....or you can spend the $250 to buy the custom cold air that works with the ss fmic. it is made by xs engineering (also known as ssautochrome). otherwise the only sri that may fit is the perrin because it has a skinny filter.

Does anyone else have any input on this.

I would like to get the cobb SR, but am unsure if it will work.

Yes,

Stick with your OEM intake & a drop in K&N unless you are going to tune for it. If you are, the APS is nice for a CAI and the typhoon is nice if you want a fiter on a stick.

The OEM box is good for pretty big power.

if he has a front mount then how is he suppose to get air to the box? the piping is going to block the snorkel. and regardless the stock airbox doesnt flow nearly as good as shortram or coldair. id go with the typhoon i had one on mycar for a short time and i liked it you can pick them up slightly used for really cheap i sold mine for 75 and it was like 2 months old
