you know how the headlights automatically turn on when you brop the E brake......... Is there any way to make them not come on?

You've got an 04 so its the same as in my car...

Look up under the dash on the passenger's side of the car, right by the kick panel towards the outside of the car. There will be a black box with a white connector sticking out of the bottom of it. That's the DRL controller. Just unplug it from there.

Also, if you plan on keeping your stock headlights (i.e. not upgrading to HIDs or something) you can unplug the resistor box in the engine compartment. Let the car cool down totally before doing it though, because its on the turbo side of the car and it gets quite hot on its own.

 

Or you could unplug the sensor under the hood, it is the silver little box near the egt solenoid harness
