Default ugh...?

So me and kyle fixed the car today, its running strong...but when i got home the CEL came on. so i reset the ecu and started it up! CEL came back on but it seemed to bog as it started. so i reset it again and gave it a little gas, no CEL! whats the deal? i think im gonna have jeff erase it completly and see what happens. anyone got any ideas. car seems fine!

car seems to bog every time i start it up... wondering if it has anything to do with driving it while my TGV was messed up! but i didnt drive it hard at all....

if you left the sensor on the front side of the motor then your rear tgv isn't lined correctly. you need to take the sensor off the front then close the tgv, put the motor on then the sensor. the sensor is spring loaded so it needs to be twisted before bolting in. hope this helps but till you do that do not try to beat on your car. it's very possible one side of your tgv's aren't opening. if that's how you put it on then recheck your codes.

take both the sensor and the motor off. look at what the front sensor attached to. should look like the end of a flathead screwdriver. turn that clockwise till it stops. tgv flaps are closed. put on the motor. then take the sensor and start with the plug side facing up, put on the flathead looking piece, then rotate so the screw holes line up. it's not just the code needing to be cleared. if you didn't do it like this the first time, then you did it wrong. it's easy to do though, the sensor is a pain in the ass. no point in clearing the code till you're done.

so i got home today and was standing infront of my car just looking at it! thinking to my self what could be causing me to idle rough and make my car start up so boggy! "light bulb"...

i get down infron of the car and have my bro start it up. I put my hand up to the BOV! first of all its releaseing air out when the car starts up. so i sit there and let it idle... it starts to putter but while im holding my hand up to the out let port... air is just flowing out of it. Im like "Mother trucker"..lol
so i tighten up the spring because its a crappy type S. problem solved!!!!! car starts up fine and idles normally.

front mount came with the BOV!! i hate greddy BOV...

Im buying the new perrin 50/50 friday....
