i need help trying to find a boost leak in my car, i need to do a pressure test and have no experience or clue on how to do that... i just got tuned by SS and wit my current setup vf39 and supporting mods, after 3 hours of trial and error by SS we coudlnt get the car to properly boost past 17psi, checked the restrictor pill, wastegate actuator, intercooler fitment, leaks, etc .. SS told me to do a pressure test, change out my BOV gasket, and get a prodrive solonoid .. anways im gonna order the gasket and solonoid this week .. anyone wanna help me do a pressure test? ill appreciate it

Were you on the stock bypass valve?

the stock "bov" is really called a by-pass valve (BPV) or recirculation valve because it recirculates the air instead of blowing it out to atmosphere.

edit: lol, didnt mean to sound like a smart ass... i just wanted to pass on the same info i learned when i got my Subie.

thanks for the info, i already knew that i wrote BOV instead of BPV .. anyways i would stilll like somebody to help me out with the pressure test to find the damn boost leak
