Worth it? Depends. No doubt more power can be made with the less restrictive exhaust, but it does come at a price. Ive heard many stories of the cutout motors going out (imagine if it were stuck open) and the cutout not sealing right. The idea is great, but from what Ive read/heard the downsides outweigh the benefits IMO.

That being said the one Id recommend would be the DMH unit Welcome to DMH Performance!. Ive heard very mixed reviews about the Quicktime one, and last I had heard they were using inferior parts in their motors and customers were having to send them back multiple times to be replaced.

the quicktime one comes with a block off plate. so if it ever stuck open you could just bolt up the plate and viola you are back to where you were before. plus the electric motor part is seperate from the actual cutout piece so its really easy to work with.

People who have no mufflers don't need cutouts.
