Default tuner needed for 99 LGT

cats outta the bag.... i was trying to keep it a surprise from you guys and just show up to the next meet at a track, make a run and return to faces on the order of , but well i need help..

okay, talked to the obvious experts that I was able to get in touch with, so here is the bat signal to all tuners of any level beyond "never done it before" because thats the stage i'm at right now

i'm installing a wrx exhaust, lightweight pulley, custom intake, and a zex dry kit with a 25 shot on friday.

not this friday, but the following friday i'm having the obx UEL headers and an a/f ratio guage (still looking around) installed.

now, my car has 140,xxx miles on it, should i replace the injectors, upgrade them, or what? i've been running premium 94 octane gas for the last few tanks, like 5 or so just to try and keep things as clean in the fuel system as possible, and i was going to go to advanced auto to see what they had as far as fuel system cleaners, if you've got any suggestions i'd appreciate it.

Tuners... yeah, i need someone that has software to tune a 1999 subaru legacy 2.5GT limited 4EAT

What i'm looking for is a WOT map for when i'm spraying nitrous that could possibly be activated when i turn on my nitrous activation switch (nitrous activated when this and when a WOT switch is activated)

i'm not the expert, i don't know what is or isn't possible, so if you've got ideas, please let me know

I've been told by Snowman that i would be best to get an SAFC, and again i'm not the expert, i don't know what is and isn't possible, so if you've got ideas that you think could help me, PLEASE let me know. i'm looking for safety, not max power, and yes i know if i wanted to be safest i would not use nitrous.

damn. no ideas? really?

uhm... well... any tips as far as the SAFC then? i mean do i need it, or is my stock fuel system strong enough to handle a potential 50 shot?

I'm just looking for some input here because i'm not finding any help on NASIOC or anywhere else i've posted on, so if you can help, toss me a bone.

Well like I said... for your setup. Convert the dry system to wet and get a SAFC. With a setup like this you'll be able to keep it safely rich under WOT and be able to run up to a 75 shot. I'd then seriously begin to worry about your tranny. Do you have a tranny cooler installed?

<adds tranny cooler to the list>

not yet!

Yeah, i don't want to run anything bigger than a 50 shot, if i want more power at that point i'll get a new car

soo... dry to wet, SAFC, tranny cooler, and upgraded injectors... or should i just replace them?

I'm gonna go do some reading on the SAFC.
well, looks like i'm gonna hold off on this for a lil bit (not install the nitrous tomorrow) untill i figure it all out and get it right.

thanks for any and all advice guys!

You'll be fine with the stock injectors.

I agree with snowman. I think your stock injectors will be fine especially with the small shot.

Have you experienced any problems with your injectors now?

Stuttering any dips in power anything like that?

I don't consider myself a tuner by anymeans but I had an injector go out in one of my honda's (gsr jun cams= blown motor). You could also tell if they are leaning out with a afr or on the dyno if they have a afr. And btw I experienced the stuttering when it was stock and replaced air filter, fuel pump, fuel filter everything except injectors. But I think you are ok. For my .02 cents

cool, thanks for your input

nope, i haven't experienced anything i would associate with a fuel injector problem, i'm just nervous due to the age of the injectors themselves... when i get an extra 300 bucks i'll buy some upgraded ones just for peace of mind

now i'm on the look out for an SAFC II for cheap now that i've got my exhaust
