lets talk gears
so thinkin of getting a set of ppg but dunno wich to get... main thing is i would like them to be "drop in"

did you already break that trans or did you just run into a large sum of money

if i was getting some i would go with synco straight cut first, second, and hylical cut 3rd, 4th. I think they can mix it up.

i will be running into a nice lump of money here soon... i'm moving out of this house an into a friends house for next to nothing for rent... pretty much i buy food an i can live there... so i'll have some $$$ for gears

I personally would go with a full helical set. I wouldnt want to live with the noise of straight cuts, even though it is cool and it would only be 1st and 2nd. They say straight cuts are stronger, but no ones ever broken either so I dont think youd have to worry much.
