Hey whats up everyone.I got a quick question,i guess a lot of people have asked the same question too,but how much boost can the stock 2.0 bottom end handle?

 

depends? with supporting mods or not
and also what turbo you have on

 

well i know u can pull around 400hp to the fly out of a stock 2.0 but thats different from maybe saying itll hold 25+ psi. i know theres gotta be a limit rated on specially the stock rods. im asking this just in case i might end up wanting to pull a bit over 20psi

 

ive seen some stock 2.0 boosting 22psiso i know they got the potential

 

you can get more the 400flywheel hp from them but the trannys go aroung 450hp... also you can run 24psi with a vf39 and meth and other supporting mods... but who knows what kind of boost it will take with a bigger turbo

 

not all psi is created equal. 20 psi on a vf34 is going to be alot different than 20 psi on a green. that being said... 20 psi.

 

I thought you would need a new tranny on a WRX after like 330hp

 

mods to the tranny are a must for that much power
