ok so to start out with i have a HKS ssq bov on a 2003 wrx. Any ways, i need suspension work done on the car so im going to take it to the dealer later today. My question to everyone is that the little pipe on the end of the BOV broke off when i was working on it the other day. should i drive like 5miles(slowly) to the dealership with this pipe broken or should i just get it towed? please need some advice on what to do fast. thanks

 

I dont know of a pipe near the BOV. maybe you mean recirc hose? Or maybe the nipple to the vacuum line? Pictures would really help.

 

the one the vacuum line goes to? if so i think you can but you cant get into boost drive like a granny... 90% sure atleast

 

yea i think its the vacuum line but not sure. when the car is running the hose just sucks air. Its on the back of the bov.

So the actual metal piece broke off or the hose was cracked/cut?

 

i was looking at it and it was weak to begin with....but yea the metal piece broke off. looking at a new gfb now.
